I’m using a plug-in called “Live-Press”.

• Once you configure the plugin with your lj account, you can do a new post in WordPress.
• From the “Add New Post” screen, you can go to “Live-Press Extra” to edit all the lj specific stuff, like user pic, mood, post secuity.
• You can have an entirely different post security for your wp post than your lj post.
• I haven’t tested the “lj-cut”, since there isn’t one. There is an “Insert More” which is native to wp.   Also some “lj-cut” plugins for wp.
• If you edit something in wordpress it gets edited on lj!
• If you delete a post on wordpress it gets deleted on lj.
• If you forget to switch from “public” to “friends only” it keeps your lj default of “friends only”. (You’ll have to manually change in lj, if needed).
• By default wp categories = lj tags, but you can change that to make tags = tags

I’ll be using this blog to experiment with cross-posting in lj and facebook from now until the end of the year. I won’t be ditching lj, so no worries.
