Christian Super Stars

Sometime in 2009 I stumbled upon a creative YouTube video called “Ignatius the Ultimate Youth Pastor“.  This video is well worth 10 minutes of your time.

“Bow you eyes, close your heads.“  LOL!!!  Sorry, I can’t stop laughing!

Anyhow…

I’ll spare you the cynical sounding rant that I originally wrote to go with that video.  The video speaks for itself about “Super Star Christians”.  Jesus puts it best…

Matthew 16:24-25 (NASV)

²⁴Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and ^(A)take up his cross and follow Me.

²⁵“For ^(B)whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.“

Do I need to explain what Jesus said here?  I think not.
